Classes

Explore our diverse range of classes designed to nurture your body, mind, and spirit. With both a heated and non-heated studio we offer a variety of yoga and healing practices to help you find balance, strength, and inner peace. Discover the perfect class to suit your needs and begin your transformative journey with us. Open to all skill levels.

Intro to Yoga

This yoga class is designed to help you connect deeply with your body, mind, and breath. Suitable for all levels, the class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and balance through a series of mindful movements and breathwork. We’ll begin with gentle stretches to warm up, progress through a sequence of yoga postures (asanas), and end with a calming meditation or relaxation session to center the mind and promote a sense of peace.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle practice using a chair for balance or while seated, making it accessible for those with mobility issues, seniors, or injury recovery. It incorporates breathing techniques, meditation, and modified poses to improve flexibility, strength, and relaxation. The movements are easy to follow and adaptable to different fitness levels, benefiting those with conditions like arthritis or chronic pain. Chair yoga promotes physical well-being, reduces stress, and enhances quality of life for people of all ages and abilities.

Slow Flow Yoga

A Slow Flow Yoga class offers a gentle and mindful practice focused on smooth movements and deep breathing. With slower-paced sequences, it encourages relaxation, proper alignment, and self-awareness. The emphasis on mindfulness and breath coordination creates a peaceful environment for building strength, flexibility, and relieving stress. This class is perfect for those seeking a calm, introspective practice to promote balance and tranquility.

Vinyasa Class (Heated and Non-Heated)

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic practice that links breath with movement, creating a flow from one pose to another. This full-body workout incorporates balancing poses, standing postures, backbends, and core exercises to build strength and flexibility. With varying sequences in each class, it offers a creative, engaging practice that encourages mindfulness and focus.

Hot Power Yoga

An intense, high-energy style of yoga practiced in a heated room, typically ranging from 90°F to 105°F. It combines the vigorous, strength-building movements of Power Yoga with the added element of heat, creating a challenging and sweat-inducing practice that enhances flexibility, builds muscle, and improves cardiovascular health.

Community Classes

Community yoga is for everyone, whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner seeking a relaxed, affordable practice. These classes foster a warm, non-judgmental environment focused on movement, mindfulness, and relaxation. Incorporating techniques like breath awareness and meditation, the emphasis is on well-being rather than perfect postures. This donation-based class encourages a suggested donation of $10.

Restorative Yoga

This class is a gentle, deeply relaxing yoga practice designed to promote rest, recovery, and healing. It focuses on slowing down the body and calming the mind, making it ideal for stress relief, relaxation, and restoring balance to the nervous system. Restorative yoga uses props—such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps—to support the body in various poses, allowing for long-held postures that encourage deep relaxation and stretching without effort or strain.

Restorative Yoga Touch

Restorative Yoga Touch classes are ideal for individuals seeking a deeper connection to their bodies and looking for more personalized attention to facilitate relaxation and healing. The incorporation of touch can help to guide the body into proper alignment, provide relief from physical tension, and support emotional relaxation.

Yoga Nidra

In this class, you will be guided through a series of gentle breath awareness techniques and body scans to help you relax each part of your body, cultivating a sense of ease and tranquility. As you lie comfortably on the mat, you’ll be led through a progressive journey of mental imagery, affirmations, and visualizations designed to calm the nervous system, deepen self-awareness, and promote healing.

Yoga 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR)

Y12SR offers a mind and body approach using both the mind and the body for relapse prevention. Using the cognitive tools of the 12-steps and the somatic experience of yoga, Y12SR assists people to develop body awareness, to learn to feel what’s going on in their bodies, and to self-regulate.

Heated Vinyasa

Hot Vinyasa is a dynamic, challenging yoga practice performed in a heated room (85–105°F) that combines traditional Vinyasa principles with intense heat. This flowing sequence of poses synchronizes breath and movement, increasing calorie burn and cardiovascular endurance. The heat promotes sweating, aiding detoxification and enhancing the overall experience. It’s a rewarding practice for both body and mind.

Warm Restorative

Warm Restorative Yoga is a calming practice that uses gentle movement, warmth, and props to promote relaxation, healing, and tension release. Held in a comfortably heated room, this practice involves long-held poses supported by blankets, bolsters, and blocks to ease strain and enhance comfort. It’s ideal for those seeking to unwind, recover, and restore balance to both body and mind.

About Us: Your Path to Healing, Growth, and Wellness

The Meaning Behind The Lotus

The lotus flower is born in the depths of muddy waters. The mud brings nutrients to the flower to assist its ability to bloom. The lotus flower then rises from the muddy waters to blossom into a beautiful flower. The lotus flower’s ability to bloom in muddy waters symbolizes resilience, spiritual growth, and the potential for beauty even in difficult circumstances. It teaches us about overcoming adversity, finding beauty and wisdom even in difficult circumstances, and striving for a higher state of being. It’s a powerful symbol of inner transformation and the potential for growth, no matter the challenges we face. For if there is no mud, there is no lotus.
